À l’occasion de la Journée internationale pour mettre fin à l’impunité des crimes commis contre les journalistes, la MPEVH (Maison du Peuple d’Europe) soutient les organisateurs de cette conférence internationale rassemblant journalistes, universitaires et juristes autour d’une question centrale :
Pourquoi les dirigeants israéliens échappent-ils encore à toute responsabilité, et comment les médias peuvent-ils briser cette culture de l’impunité ?
L’événement mettra en évidence le ciblage systématique des journalistes à Gaza, la censure de la vérité et la responsabilité morale et juridique de la communauté internationale dans la défense de la justice et de la liberté de la presse.

On the occasion of the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes Against Journalists, MPEVH (Maison du Peuple d’Europe – European Community House) supports the organizers of this international conference bringing together journalists, academics, and legal experts to explore a pressing question:
Why do Israel’s leaders continue to evade accountability — and how can the media challenge this culture of impunity?
The event aims to highlight the systematic targeting of journalists in Gaza, the suppression of truth, and the moral and legal responsibility of the international community to defend justice and press freedom.

L’activité « Plaidoyer citoyen européen » a pour objectif de mobiliser les citoyens européens afin qu’ils participent activement à la vie démocratique de l’Union européenne. Elle encourage chacun à exprimer ses opinions sur diverses propositions législatives ou politiques européennes, dans le but d’améliorer la législation existante en suggérant des amendements aux projets en cours ou en proposant de nouvelles initiatives législatives.
Ces actions s’inscrivent dans le cadre des grands enjeux sociétaux actuels.

Training in Citizen Advocacy
Faced with the growing complexity of institutions, citizens are becoming aware that they need to inform themselves, educate, and engage to make democracy function at all levels, whether in their municipality, region, country, or at the European level.
Europe citoyenne (ICE)
At the European level, several mechanisms are in place to enable citizens to take action and address European institutions. However, it is essential that citizens and associations are aware of the existing mechanisms and can use them effectively. This is the purpose of the House of the People of Europe, which aims to inform, educate, advise, and support citizen initiatives.
Make a country in the country
This project began with the mobilization of certain findings from the Noir Jaune Blues survey. The survey made a significant impact upon its release in January 2017, highlighting the breakdown of social bonds. Implicit in the questions brought to light by this survey was the future of social cohesion in a global context of loss of meaning and democratic trust.

Solidarity restaurant
The 'Tou·te·s à table' project aims to create, in the Brussels region, a high-quality solidarity restaurant open to all city residents. Located in Ixelles, halfway between the European Parliament and the popular Matonge district, this restaurant will offer everyone, regardless of their economic and socio-cultural background, the opportunity to have lunch and dinner in a socially warm atmosphere. The acceptance of this project by the Municipality of Ixelles is expected to take place this fall.
