The Community House of Europe is a Belgian association created in 2014 in response to the feeling of a lack of proximity between citizens and the European Union, as well as the absence of a European public space.
It was born to raise awareness about citizen action and to develop cross-cutting actions by networking Belgian and European decision-makers. Participatory and deliberative democracy tools are used to influence European as well as regional and national decision-making processes on European subjects by proposing bills and/or amendments of general interest.
